What Our SOC2 Status Means for You

Service Organization Control (SOC) reports follow the standards of the American Institute for Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Based on the type of work we engage in, Scrubbed chose to undergo the audit and review process for SOC2, which confirms how well a service provider’s operational and compliance controls adhere to five “trust service principles”: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.

After a rigorous audit and review, Scrubbed received a SOC2 Type 1 report, which describes our operational and compliance control measures and attests that their design is appropriate for meeting the Security and Confidentiality trust principles outlined by the AICPA.

Now that Scrubbed has completed the SOC2 audit process and received a Type 1 report, any client can request a copy to gain even greater confidence that we’re managing and protecting the data you entrust to us as your outsourced accounting and finance partner.

And since the SOC2 report is issued on an annual basis, we’ve committed to undergoing the SOC audit each year to ensure our operational and compliance controls stay compliant with the AICPA’s rigorous standards for service organizations.
