The Scrubbed Story
How we got here.
Scrubbed began with a shared vision between Gani Laguisma and Mark Pineda, two finance professionals who met while working at one of the Big Four public accounting firms in the United States.
They believed growing companies deserved more than what the industry was offering them. More connection. More access to senior expertise. More conversations about where the business was headed, not just where it had been. In 2012, that belief became a firm.
Today, we’re 1,100 professionals strong, organized as a licensed CPA firm with full audit authority. Our team, affectionately known as Scrubbees, serves middle market clients across the industries where our expertise runs deepest.

In accounting, “scrubbed” describes financial records that are clean, well-organized, easy to follow, and accurate. It’s the standard every good accountant works toward, and the one we hold ourselves to on every engagement.
