Alfonso is a Philippine Certified Public Accountant. He ranked first in the October 2017 CPA Board Examination in the Philippines. Alfonso has five years of extensive experience providing accounting, consulting, assurance, and non-assurance services. His client portfolio ranges from pharmaceutical companies, business process outsourcing, semiconductor, information, advertising, oil and gas, airline, agriculture, and real estate industries. As a Technical Accounting Manager, Alfonso is heavily involved in the preparation and review of financial statements of public and non-public companies following US GAAP and SOX/PCAOB reporting requirements, preparation and review of technical memoranda on complex accounting matters, the conduct of quarterly and period-end reconciliations and audit readiness programs, conversion of financial statements between accounting frameworks, utilization of different accounting software, facilitation of technical training sessions, and provision of accounting research and consulting services to internal and external stakeholders.
