Nine professionals at Scrubbed are now poised in their new directorship positions to help hundreds of businesses of all sizes realize their unique financial goals. The ripple effect of moving these individuals into leadership roles will be felt worldwide for years to come, and the freshly promoted professionals are thrilled to be able to guide their clients to new levels of achievement and growth.
After nine years with Scrubbed, Leamsi Tulabut is now a Director of Finance in the Financial Accounting* Services group, heading teams in Real Estate as well as Biotechnology & Life Sciences. She brings more than 15 years of experience to her new position, including external audit work with Deloitte and four years with a multinational advertising and media company in Dubai.
As Director for Financial Reporting and Accounting* Services at Scrubbed, Arlene Tapispisan leads a group of diverse accounting* professionals that caters to companies in the Information, Media & Entertainment, Cannabis, Real Estate, SaaS, Clean Technology, and Renewable Energy spaces. Her 21 years of audit, finance, and accounting* include work in one of the Big Four accounting* firms focusing on the renewable energy sector as well as 10 years as an internal auditor for the largest shipping company in the Philippines.
Laurence Ruelo will head teams focused on Professional & Business Services and Social Enterprise & Non-Profits as a Director of Finance in Scrubbed Financial Accounting* Services group. Laurence brings nine years of experience to the position, including time as a college instructor in accounting* and management. He has worked on-site with international organizations to streamline their finance processes across locations and organization-wide.
Heading the Consumer Products & Retail and Family Office teams at Scrubbed as a Director of Finance, Reina Bengco has over 14 years of accounting* experience, including time spent at PWC handling distribution, manufacturing, financial services, and professional services clients. Previously, she headed the accounting* and finance group of an international school and a family office.
Julemm Banag has been promoted as a Director of Scrubbed’s Professional Support Services group, heading the SOX Internal Audit Support team. Julemm started her career at KPMG Philippines and has more than 11 years of experience in audits, information risk management, and advisory services.
As Scrubbed’s new Director of Corporate Finance Support Services, Aira Pineda and her team provide management to client services teams for financial modeling, CFO support services, valuation, budgeting, and financial planning and analysis. Prior to Scrubbed, she was with KPMG handling projects such as financial forecasting and modeling, financial due diligence, buy-side/sell-side support, drafting of business plans, and creating key performance indicator dashboards.
Raiza Almendo will serve as the Director of Tax Compliance and Advisory Services bringing more than 12 years of experience in tax return preparation, tax provisioning, tax planning, and setting up tax workbooks to the role. She holds the highest credential awarded by the IRS, Enrolled Agent. Prior to joining Scrubbed, she spent years with KPMG, Deutsche Bank, and Prople, an outsourcing service company.
Serving as Scrubbed’s Director of Transaction Advisory Services and Professional Firms Support Services, Redea Rivera brings more than nine years of professional experience to her new position. Since her career launched with Ernst & Young, Redea has been an expert in auditing in the merchandising, service, and asset management industries. Her most recent client work at Scrubbed involved performing due diligence procedures for mergers and acquisitions deals.
With 15+ years of professional experience in auditing, assurance, and management advisory, Rizza De Guzman will take on a new role as Director of Professional Firms Support Services, serving as the External Audit Support client service leader. Her eight years of auditing experience with KPMG, as well as five years of financial reporting for Citibank Shared Services Manila and Deutsche Bank Group Manila, will be a valuable asset to Scrubbed’s international clients.
