Transaction Support Director
San Fernando, Pampanga and Manila • Full-time


In this role, you are responsible for the overall transaction support division of Scrubbed, overseeing the performance of agreed-upon procedures covering projects on due diligence, mergers, and acquisitions transactions.

You will be reporting directly to the TS partner of our client in the US, and also directly to the Scrubbed executive management both in San Francisco and in San Fernando, Pampanga.

You will oversee a growing practice of currently 15 professionals (two managers, 8 seniors, and 5 staff), which is envisioned to be at 30 to 50 TS professionals in two to three years.

You will be a trusted leader and advisor who will understand and inhabit our corporate values, culture and will help advance the Company’s vision through diligence, hard work, and due professional care.

You are expected to conduct yourself at all times with integrity, compassion, and total professionalism and you will be looked upon as a role model in developing professionals we have on our roster.

You will be entrusted with the technical proficiency, training, and execution surrounding the performance of our transaction supports responsibilities, and you will be relied upon in making sure we are properly structured operationally and strategically to handle growing demands and client needs.

You will be expected to problem solve, to exercise leadership in handling conflicts with a view towards mutual resolution of various parties’ conflicting interests.


Job duties may include:

  • Oversee the performance of due diligence procedures for both buy side and sell side transactions
  • Oversee the preparation the quality of earnings report, as well as income statement and balance sheet data books and analysis
  • Oversee the preparation of various analysis and reports of a customer, revenue, payroll, and other significant financial statement accounts that would aid our clients in evaluating investment options
  • Oversee the performance of quality check of the financial due diligence report for management and investors
  • Write due diligence reports including procedures details and highlights, findings details and summary, and other relevant texts needed by clients to oversee their investments
  • Oversee the research and financial analysis of target companies
  • Develop financial models that will be utilized by clients in valuation and other relevant investment decisions
  • Oversee the performance review of revenue contracts of a publicly listed company for compliance with the US revenue recognition standards
  • Communicate with US partners and managers and staff to ensure delivery of exceptional client service

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required. CPA preferred, MBA, CFA a definite plus.
  • Preferably with at least 12 years of experience in transaction support, corporate finance or other related fields.
  • Has strong knowledge and can perform a thorough analysis of current and past financial data and performance of clients under evaluation, and can explain the “why” behind the numbers.
  • Able to prepare, interpret, and provide insight on various reports based on the analysis performed.
  • Excellent interpersonal as well as verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform consistently at a high level under pressure.
  • Attention to detail, and at the same time comfortable with the ability to take a step back and recognize the distinction between the forest and the trees.
  • Expert in MS Excel - must be confident handling large amounts of complex data and performing advanced Excel functions.

  • Prior experience with financial analysis preferred. Those with audit or investment backgrounds will also be welcome.
