Gliezel David
Director-Technical Accounting Services
Gliezel David is a Certified Public Accountant in the Philippines with more than 15 years of experience providing technical accounting, audit, and advisory services to public and private companies and professionals. She has extensive knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and SOX/PCAOB reporting requirements. Gliezel helps our clients prepare technical memoranda, adopt new accounting standards, convert financial statements between accounting frameworks and conventions, and prepare and review SEC forms. Before joining Scrubbed, she was an Audit and Methodology Senior Manager in PwC Philippines and was assigned to the New York and Connecticut offices of PwC USA.
John Mark Respeto
Senior Manager- ESG and Technical Accounting Services
JM has 9 years of solid, in-depth accounting and auditing experience. He graduated Summa cum Laude, and passed the Philippine CPA licensure examination in 2014. He has extensive knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP. He assisted companies in ensuring compliance with accounting standards, preparing/reviewing financial statements, and internal controls assessment for SOX/PCAOB reporting. His client portfolio includes top global companies in retail and distribution, manufacturing, mining, oil and gas, healthcare, pharmaceutical, hotels, business services, not-for-profit organizations, and education. He also facilitates technical accounting training. Prior to joining Scrubbed, he was an Assurance Senior Manager at PwC Philippines with international audit experience in EY Barbados.
In addition to his accounting and auditing experience, JM is also an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) knowledge head. He has a deep understanding of ESG principles and practices.
Alfonso Solomon Magno
Manager-Technical Accounting Services
Alfonso is a Philippine Certified Public Accountant. He ranked first in the October 2017 CPA Board Examination in the Philippines. Alfonso has five years of extensive experience providing accounting, consulting, assurance, and non-assurance services. His client portfolio ranges from pharmaceutical companies, business process outsourcing, semiconductor, information, advertising, oil and gas, airline, agriculture, and real estate industries. As a Technical Accounting Manager, Alfonso is heavily involved in the preparation and review of financial statements of public and non-public companies following US GAAP and SOX/PCAOB reporting requirements, preparation and review of technical memoranda on complex accounting matters, the conduct of quarterly and period-end reconciliations and audit readiness programs, conversion of financial statements between accounting frameworks, utilization of different accounting software, facilitation of technical training sessions, and provision of accounting research and consulting services to internal and external stakeholders.
Before joining Scrubbed, Alfonso was a Senior Assurance Associate at PwC Philippines and an Assurance Manager at BDO International Philippines.
Angel Lou Ruiz
Manager-Technical Accounting Services
Angel is a Certified Public Account in the Philippines with five years of extensive experience in providing technical accounting, assurance and non-assurance services. She is currently a manager actively leading and working with teams on technical accounting engagements with public and private companies. She prepares technical memoranda, performs an extensive review of IFRS and US GAAP financial statements (i.e., 10-Q and 10-K reports), including note disclosures and account reconciliations, converts financial statements from one framework to another (i.e., IFRS to US GAAP), assists in the adoption of new standards, and provides technical accounting consultations. Aside from client engagements, she conducts technical accounting training sessions and creates accounting content for Scrubbed. Before joining Scrubbed, Angel had years of professional experience with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Philippines leading financial statement audits, reviews, and agreed-upon procedures for various companies.
While in PwC Philippines, she handled a wide array of client portfolios, including e-commerce, manufacturing, retail, services, energy, and construction companies.
Jammile Ferrer
Manager-Technical Accounting Services
Jam is a Certified Public Accountant in the Philippines with five years of solid background and experience in providing technical accounting, assurance and non-assurance services. She graduated Cum Laude and passed the Philippine CPA licensure examination in 2018. She is currently a manager actively leading and working with teams on technical accounting engagements with public and private companies. She is involved in preparing and reviewing technical memoranda, IFRS and US GAAP financial statements (i.e., 10-Q and 10-K reports), including note disclosures and account reconciliations. Jam also handles financial statements conversion, assists in the adoption of new standards, assists clients in performing period-end close processes using different accounting software, facilitates technical training sessions, and provides technical accounting consultations.
Before joining Scrubbed, Jam had more than three years of professional experience with KPMG R.G. Manabat & Co., handling financial statement audits, reviews, and agreed-upon procedures for companies in the financial services industry.
Sherwin Longasa

Sherwin is a Certified Public Accounting in the Philippines with five years of solid background and experience in providing technical accounting, assurance and non-assurance services. As a manager, he leads in preparing technical memoranda, performing an extensive review of US GAAP (i.e., 10-Q and 10-K SEC reports) and IFRS financial statements, note disclosures, and account reconciliations, and assisting clients in adopting new standards . Before joining Scrubbed, he had more than three years of professional experience with Reyes Tacandong & Co., handling financial statement audits for public and private companies.
